a Web browser
application
for Symbian
Series 60
devices (tested
with Nokia
3600/3620/3650/3660/7650/n-gage
and Siemens
SX1). Doris
Browser is
a mini-Web
browser written
from the ground
up for Symbian
OS, allowing
the user to
access most
Internet Web
pages. View
the pages,
use the search
engines, read
the electronic
papers.
 Doris
Web Browser allows you
to view most Internet
Web pages, but there are
some limitations posed
by the memory space and
the display size of the
phone. The Web pages designed
with mobile phones and
PDA devices work the best,
but so do a great deal
of other pages.

PNG and BMP), forms,
server-side and client-side

(removed when the application
is closed)

up browsing
and reduce

back button remembers
30 last visited pages

to 1000 bookmarks (a
maximum of 5 in evaluation

compared to the familiar
desktop Web browsers (Netscape,
Internet Explorer) include:
- Rendering
of Web pages. Doris
Browser does not attempt
to duplicate the original
Web page design. The
primary goal is to represent
the page content and
allow viewing and reading
the pages as conveniently
as possible
- Frames.
Web pages using frames
can be accessed through
a list of the frame
names
- JavaScript
is not supported in
the current version.
Many pages using JavaScript
have alternate methods
of displaying the contents

Doris Browser
Before buying Doris Browser
you have the option to
evaluate the product.
The evaluation version
is fully functional, but
limits the online browsing
time to three minutes
per one program run, after
which the program terminates.
