Koti-Karjala expands Anygraaf installation

Finnish newspaper, Koti-Karjala, has chosen to expand its installation of Anygraaf publishing software. Koti-Karjala will be adding ePlanner and ePaper to its current Doris, AProfit and CProfit installation. Web-based services for the current installation of Profit-series software will also be installed; this will run any web-based services for AProfit and CProfit and deliver dynamic content for their website.

ePlanner is an intelligent, visually oriented tool for the creation and control of web-based publications; ePlanner allows you to plan, build and manage your website via an easy-to-use graphical interface. ePlanner is an integrated component of the Doris publishing production system; as such, content can be managed from within Doris, as well as from external sources. The system also allows the papers to maintain Web features such as message forums, video and audio galleries, reader polls, ad placement management. Additionally, ePlanner provides the status of all materials assigned to a page, including publication date, number of views, location of article within the publication, and more. The article statistics, such as number of views, are also stored in a database for later analysis. Materials can also be scheduled for automatic publication and/or removal from the web on a specific date and time. Lastly, the ePlanner system allows for bi-drectional content management letting readers submit content that gets moved right to the Doris editorial system for easy review and handling by editors.

Anygraaf's ePaper provides publishing organizations the ability to publish an exact replica of a printed publication in a flipbook format. The ePaper reader allows users to browse the paper, search content and view galleries of images and video clips associated with the day's publication. A pdf of each page can also be created for readers to download.

Installation is scheduled to be complete in the second quarter of 2011.
