WebNeo is a Firefox-compatible text editor which allows articles to be written and sent directly to the editorial system from any Internet-enabled computer. WebNeo also provides the ability to preview layouts using selected text and photos.

Upload articles to the system from anywhere

Articles are written using a layout template within the editorial system. Article elements are chosen (i.e. title, caption, fact box, etc.) and necessary styles defined and applied to text elements. All of this can take place anywhere, even directly at an event location.

Attach pictures to corresponding text

Images can be attached to an associated article in WebNeo. Images can either be uploaded or chosen from pictures already in the system. Captions can also be attached to the pictures.

Preview your layout

Once text and pictures are placed in a layout template, the user is able to view an article preview. Text can then be edited for space if necessary.

A valuable module for Anygraaf's Layout Driven workflow

WebNeo is compatible with Doris (2.6) as well as the Neo Publishing Solution. WebNeo works especially well as a component of Anygraaf's Layout Driven workflow. Content providers can write complete text of the appropriate length and check the layout from anywhere. Photographers can also choose the images for articles and upload them directly into the system, even directly from an event.

Make sure stories fit allotted space

WebNeo allows weekly columnists the ability to write articles which fit a prescribed layout. Anygraaf's Layout Driven workflow is not necessary, layout templates can be created during the normal course of work. When a content provider can see a preview, he can control his text while writing in order to make it fit the assigned space.
