Finnish News Agency expands Anygraaf installation - STT installs Neo

Finnish News Agency (STT) will be expanding their installation of Anygraaf software with the installation of Anygraaf's new media planning and content management system, Neo. The initial agreement was signed in November 2009 and the system should go live in the spring of 2011.

STT's CEO and Editor in Chief, Mika Pettersson, states that STT was no only looking for a technical solution, but one that would support the organization's business and operational practices as well. The decision to choose Neo was also predicated upon the fact that Anygraaf offers a full suite of content management systems.

"The continued partnership of the two companies is a pleasant and interesting project right in the heart of the Finnish news world," said Anygraaf's Managing Director Hannu Inberg.

The Finnish News Agency is currently using Anygraaf's Doris editorial system, which assists in the production of content for the majority of Finnish news media organizations. Doris is also installed at a range of international customers including several hundred corporations, associations and government offices. Transition from Doris to Neo will be controlled, the project is challenging and in Finland unique.

Introduced in fall, 2009, Neo is Anygraaf's next generation content management and publishing planning system. Designed to provide a birds-eye-view of the entire content management process from creation to multi-channel publishing, Neo offers a wealth of new tools for editing, planning and managing all content types.

With an eye toward today's print, mobile and web needs and the ever-changing demands of tomorrow's challenges, Neo servers as a foundation upon which content providers can efficiently manage content, staff and workflow with advanced communication capabilities, efficient control of content and documents, instant messaging, tools for both internal and external information searches, classification and geo-mapping.

The first Neo installation was completed in September 2009, when Anygraaf's Neo Books, specifically designed for book publishers, was implemented by The National Institute for Health and Welfare.
