Belgian Weekly Selects Anygraaf Systems
– ATLAS to install ad and editorial systems

Belgian publisher, ATLAS, has chosen Anygraaf’s Neo by Anygraaf publishing system and AProfit ad management system for its publishing software needs. Sales and installation of the system will be handled by Penthion Media Technologies, Anygraaf’s distribution partner in the Netherlands

ATLAS is a weekly newspaper published in South West Vlaanderen. Distributed throughout the majority of the province, ATLAS has a circulation of 150,000. The search for a new system at ATLAS was instigated due to the discontinuation of the previously installed software package.

Director Martin Courtens says that “we kept encountering limitations with our current system. One day I found a brochure from Penthion on my desk and, after reading it, decided to investigate further.” After an on-site demo was given to key staff members at ATLAS, Courtens was convinced. “During the demo I noticed that Penthion appeared to know the publishing industry quite well. They are ready to work with the customer and not impose a standard implementation. Once we had a cost outline, the decision was quickly made that we would do business with the Dutch.”

The Neo publishing system is a framework for the control and management of the editorial enterprise. It includes documents, editorial resources, event calendars, ideas, projects, plans and planning tools. Internal archives as well as the Internet can be accessed from within Neo, centralizing and simplifying data searches. Neo addresses the challenges of the publishing industry by providing advanced tools for communication, efficient ways of routing material to multiple publishing channels, instant messaging and a variety of asset classification options.

AProfit offers complete functionality for booking, billing and tracking ads. Ad order entry and ad tracking are managed within a system that integrates with asset management and page and edition planning solutions. AProfit delivers time savings and offers customers greater access with capabilities to book ads, submit material and approve proofs via the Internet. AProfit lets users book, track and plan ad placement from one common system.
