Finnish Distribution Firms Select Anygraaf System to Drive Joint Venture

The CDProfit distribution management system will handle all delivery management tasks

HELSINKI, FINLAND — March 12, 2013 —

Finnish companies Esa Jakelut Oy and Ilves Jakelu Oy have selected Anygraaf’s CDProfit system to manage the delivery activities of the papers and other products each distributes. Additionally, the two companies will join Anygraaf to provide guidance in system development as well as in marketing and sales activities in efforts to offer the system to other distribution companies.

The CDProfit system is part of Anygraaf’s Profit family of systems, which also includes the AProfit ad management system and the CProfit circulation and subscription management system. CDProfit provides tools to manage product delivery and runs independent of a subscription management system allowing for the distribution planning by carrier or mail of any type of product. The system includes features to among other things manage carriers, routes, address databases as well as handle billing and payroll data.

Esa Jakelut Oy, distributes Etelä-Suomen Sanomat and maintains a daily distribution area in Southern Finland of approximately 110,000 private households with another 20,000 households delivered on weekends. Additionally, the distribution area covers almost 15,000 businesses.

Ilves Jakelu Oy, distributor of the newspaper Hämeen Sanomat, operates throughout the finnish Häme region and serves a distribution area of about 83,000 households and 13,000 businesses.

Both distribution companies already maintain licenses for postal distribution, which will allow them to develop and implement necessary functions rapidly with the goal of bringing new business opportunities to each company. According to Juhani Penttilä, Esa Jakelut Oy managing director, in addition to the newspapers each company distributes, CDProfit will provide the ability to more easily plan and manage the distribution of other addressable products and promotional items, making it easier to pursue new business. The distribution of bulk unaddressed items can also be managed with CDProfit.

The system is expected to be fully operation by late Fall 2013.
